1972 FENDER TELECASTER NATURAL
Incredible looking guitar which sounds even better. A rare opportunity to own a piece of history.

This is a gorgeous classic with the 5 decades old DNA to match. She is in surprisingly good condition for her age and use with a few marks and bumps here and there - but then again not many of us look the same as we did in the 70s. We fell in love with it and brought it across from Texas to the UK personally.
This lovely Telecaster is all original with no issues. The serial number dates her as Fullerton plant 1973 although the neck - as you can see - is May 1972. There is a chip to the neck socket ( mid ) at the bottom. There is a lacquer crack to the neck socket ( top ). There is a chip to the rear top and front. There are a few of the usual types of chips to the edge near the jack socket and a few small chips at the bottom of the body. There is a tiny mark on the 12th fret marker. The finish of the varnish throughout is still superb and we have not seen many Telecasters this old in this kind of condition. She is a real thoroughbred.
We bought this because this is the classic looking Telecaster. Most of our musical heroes played one and when we heard that the guitar player in question might part with it - well it had to come home with us.
No collection is complete without an original Tele - and this one not only looks amazing ( and distinctive ) but also sounds superb. This is a lovely example of an iconic instrument with a character and history that is unique to its wood and its frets. Remember, this is a nearly 50 years old made in USA guitar.
The guitar comes with the original Fender hard case. She has been set up ready for sale by guitar guru Simon Bamber in Bristol.
